For over 20 years Liberty Ranch of Kings Mountain, Kentucky has been providing one-of-a-kind addiction recovery solutions for men and women. Having originally launched as a structured and upscale sober living home with added recovery features, the program quickly spiraled into what is now considered among the nation’s benchmarks with respect to recovery homes, transitional aftercare services, sober housing and even affordable alternatives to traditionally high-priced residential drug rehab.

The Liberty Ranch is located in the beautiful Lake Cumberland Region of South Central Kentucky. The program provides separate men’s and women’s residences that are designed to not only establish a new path to living, but to proactively encourage daily practice in numerous areas including honesty, integrity, action, camaraderie, fellowship and more. Our program and staff firmly endorse and promote active involvement in 12-Step recovery principles.

Due to our unique and effective structure, as well as the upscale approach to sober living services, The Liberty Ranch is often regarded as an affordable alternative to the many high-priced inpatient drug rehabs and treatment center options available. Whether you or your loved one is in need of transitional recovery housing, structured sober living or even a higher level of care that resembles inpatient addiction treatment, The Liberty Ranch is here for you 7 days a week at (606) 787-2023 or online at www.libertyranch.com

THE PROGRAM STRUCTURE INCLUDES:

COMMENTS:

The Liberty Ranch for Women saved my life. I now have over 4 years of sobriety thanks to the help and support staff and the residents have provided me. When I got to the Liberty Ranch I thought there was no hope for me. This is where they stepped in and guided me though what I needed to do. Teaching me the tools I needed to live life on life’s terms. If it was not for the guidance I received and the patience given I would not be sober today. Not only did they show me love and compassion going through the house, but they continue to support me even after graduating. I would recommend The Liberty Ranch for Women to anyone who is suffering from drug and alcohol addiction.

COMMENTS:

Finding the Liberty Ranch saved my life. I was an alcoholic and a drug addict. I eventually found the strength to admit to my family the truth and ask for help. Through the advice of a friend that had gotten sober at the Ranch, I agreed to go there. Through a very structured system of accountability, they were able to show me how my behavior led to my drinking and using. In introducing me to the 12 step program, the Ranch showed me how to meet other alcoholics, work my program, and stay sober and alive. Before coming to the Ranch in 2007 I was a 24 year old spoiled kid, living off of my parents and anyone else who I could manipulate, contributing nothing to society, unemployed, miserable, and slowly destroying my body, mind, and soul with substances.

Now, in 2014, I am a 30 year old man with 6+ years clean and sober, living a life that I never dreamed was possible for me. Since I left the Ranch, I have obtained a Master’s degree, work a job I love (and can make a small difference in peoples’ lives), bought a home, am happily married, and have serenity. None of this would be possible if I didn’t spent time at the Ranch. The Ranch is not like any other recovery home in the country. There is no other place where staff is willing to go so far to help people that have been written off as helpless.

COMMENTS:

I came to the ranch on July 22 2011. When I got there I was hopeless. I couldn’t function in everyday life, whether it was work, school,or even interactions with my own family. I was completely dependent on drugs and alcohol to get through my day both physically and mentally. I was on the verge of being homeless and had ruined every relationship with every person in my life. When I arrived there I was greeted by caring people who excepted me with open arms. I was introduced to a twelve step program, taught what honesty, integrity, and humility were. I was held accountable for my actions,I did chores, essays, and a lot of peer groups. I learned how to deal with everyday life without drugs and alcohol. I learned what real friendships were. And got to experience for the first time in ten years what happiness was. It is a highly structured environment which is what most of us need. My family got a lot of help too in family group. Since graduating from the program I have held down a job for more than a year, got my family back, have great friends who care about me, and still continue to have the support of the ranch. I went there on July 22 2011 and god willing I will have three years sober on July 20th this year and I owe it all to the ranch. If you want a better life and wanna stay sober the Liberty Ranch is the place to do it. Thank you Derek Y.

COMMENTS:

My sobriety date is 7/19/2010. I am an alcoholic and a drug addict. I have been to at least six residential treatment centers in three states. The shortest length stay in one of them was eighteen hours and the longest was at the Ranch. It is my experience that for an alcoholic as I am there had to be extreme measures taken if I would ever see any kind of long term sobriety. I am grateful that everything that happened up until July 19 2010 did and that I am fortunate to have a story that involves the Liberty Ranch. I lived a self imposed miserable life before I got sober at the Ranch. I negatively effected any relationship I had. I could not stand being myself. There was nothing left to try, no other way to manipulate, I came to a point defeated and willing I took a leap of faith and got on an airplane to give one last attempt at sobriety. I always doubted I could do this that forced me to listen, accept help, do what others told me to do. Forced me to commit to something I thought I could NEVER do, stop asking why and start asking how. If you know someone who is a hopeless junkie and homeless alcoholic- or if you know that may be the inevitable then I suggest you give The Liberty Ranch the same shot my family and I have. I promise you that the staff will never give up on you and your loved one. The dedication of the staff, families, and graduates is what works, this is why the Liberty Ranch has the successes of recovery thus far, and the dedication will keep moving to reach the lives of the suffering alcoholics who walk in the doors. I had no idea what the Liberty Ranch saw in me and why they cared so much, now I have an idea and see a little clearer that I would have killed the wrong Courtney. The biggest accomplishment and most fulfilling recognition is to be a graduate of the Liberty Ranch for Women. If you have read this message I have written I have no doubt you know what i’m talking about unfortunately and fortunately. God bless you
